Your account and profile

What your dashboard shows about you, and how to edit your profile.

The account dashboard is where you land after signing in. Open it any time from the account menu at the top right with Visit my profile. It shows what your account can reach; the form you use to edit your profile follows below.

Your details

At the top sits a card with your profile picture, your name, your email address, your role, and your biography if you have written one.

Three figures are shown beneath: Visible in user directory? — whether your profile is published to other members; Organisations — how many organisations your account is linked to; and Communities — how many communities you can reach, counting those linked through an organisation and those linked to you directly.

An Edit profile button sits above the card and leads to the form described below.

Note A View public profile button appears next to Edit profile when the profile is published; it is marked coming soon and does not open a page yet.

My network

The My network section lists what your account can reach. Until an organisation or a community is linked to your account, the section reads: You do not have any organisation or community access yet.

Once links exist, each organisation is shown as a block with its name, a badge for your level of access, and its linked communities. Communities linked directly to your account appear in a separate Direct community access block.

Your level of access

Access is granted per organisation and per community. Three levels are in use — viewer, editor and manager — and the badge on each block tells you which one applies to you:

  • Viewer access — view the entry; on a community, see it in your network
  • Editor access — edit the profile information; for a community, also its media and content
  • Manager access — also edit media and linked information, and manage which users are linked
  • Admin account — held by the network's administrators; shown as manager-level access everywhere

Note Editing controls only appear where you have permission. Missing Edit organisation or Edit community buttons simply mean you do not have editing rights for that entry.

Tip Where an entry is published, a View public page button opens the version visitors see.

Membership

A Membership section at the bottom of the dashboard is a placeholder: the membership area is not operational yet, and nothing in this guide depends on it.
