Our Services
The Smart Village Network Services has been set up to support the work of the members of the Smart Village Network. The SVNS offers a range of services to its members, including organisation of events and exchanges, policy advocacy and support for rural community strategy development and implementation of actions.
Exchanges & Networking
The Smart Village Network Services organises regular events for its members and beyond that allow exchange and networking. Events range from face-to-face visits for members to get to know better local communities and smart practices, to online debates on policy-issues
Policy & advocacy
The Smart Village Network Services is member of the Rural Pact Coordination Group (RPCG) that was established as a Commission special group steering the Rural Pact process. Edina Ocsko (President of the Smart Village Network Services) is Vice-Chair of the RPCG. As such, we've been actively involved various policy initiatives of the group, such as designing the RPCG Declaration on the future of EU rural development policy.
Rural Community Support
SVNS provides support to SVN members, to help advance smart village strategies and initiatives. Support include one-to-one consultations and advice, sharing of relevant practices and joint proposals for open calls with members as partners.
