SURE Energy strand Introductory event- online

This online event invites people from across Europe to come together and explore how communities can take more control over their energy future. Participants will learn about renewable energy and the idea of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) through simple, real-life examples and shared experiences. The session highlights today’s climate and energy challenges, while focusing on practical, positive steps communities and individuals can take to move away from fossil fuels. Through open discussion and short presentations, the event creates a welcoming space to exchange ideas, get inspired, and start thinking about how clean, locally driven energy solutions could work in participants’ own towns and villages.
